I has been doing many writings, both on Face Books and my dogblog, about people sister's birthday. I has only one people sister, so these kinds of excitedments only comes once a year! Luckily for all of us, Mama was too busy being runned ragged by childrens at Leah's party, so only a few photos was taked of the event.
Does you know how to grab childrens attentions for many minutes and maybe even seconds?
NOOOOOOOOO |
hmmm, this smells.... really really weird |
Mama, I's pretty sure this is one of people sister's stuffed animals |
That is when I began to realize what a kittens is. They smelled like Hatfield, and they was just the right size, shape and texture of a chewy, so...
Can you guesses what happened next? |
******photo removed due to extreme unfairnesses to Reuben*******
Look, how you can blame me for trying to eat a kittens? I thoughted they was predators! And intruders! And chewies! And also catses, on top of all that. What you would has done?
Not to worries, the kittens is still adorably alive. |
wipe that Smug off your face, Maisy! |
Please excuse me now; Mama is having a squee overload and I must bark some sense back into her head.
It really is hard to give them up when you have bottle fed them. I mistakenly gave my sister to separate litters of barn kitties to raise - she now has 12 cats. Sigh...

Reuben! You might have made a very serious mistake with those kittens. The rules are: look but don't touch, lick but don't taste.
ReplyDeleteWe think we would have tried to chew them too. or at least drag them around for awhile. That's what fearsome hunting dogs do.
ReplyDeleteWe bet your Aunt is going to have lots of cats. Just make sure your mum doesn't get a 'friend' for Hatfield!
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Rueben! You are a brave hunter... what else did everyone expect you to do but try to eat the evil predator?
ReplyDeleteSam and Pippen
UhOh....When me furst looked at 'em, me thought dey was ... CHICKEN! So can't eat kittens...OK!
ReplyDeleteYou can't help it, Reuben, it's in your genes! Dachshunds were bred to hunt badgers. How did you know it wasn't a badger?
ReplyDeleteyour pal,
Garth
Well REUBEN... that was totally Understandable to ME. You should NOT be blamed fur thinkin what seemed PURRRRRRRfectly Natural.
ReplyDeleteWe don't blame you fur anything! And knock some sense back into your Momma! BOL!
ReplyDeleteWe hate to admit it Reuben, little purrty kitties are beautiful! We love the white one with the black on it's head. But we're a dog family 100% so don't get no ideas about shipping him to us in the mail. We think it's mighty nice to be taking care of them because they have no Mama.
ReplyDeleteAnd who can blame you Reuben... They look just like tree rats!
Hugs,
Lily Belle & Muffin

Baby kittens look a lot like squirrels, people can't blame us for mixing them up!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Ditto Kten. However we hope they are OK. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
I'm glad you did not eat those kitties. Maybe you could just lick the milk off their faces.

Dear Reuben,
ReplyDeleteThe humans have silly rules at times, don't they? I'm sure you were just trying to take a look...
Licks,
Cobi
Oh such blessings. If you are nice to the kittens you will get extra belly rubs you know. I am a hoomomma to not only 5 Weenlings but 8 Katlings and I think your Auntie is a wonderful woman to try and give them the best chance at life that she can. Now go be nice to the babies so you can get some extra tummy lovings:)
